Fragile Chaos by Amanda James is an appreciation for life. I think the images are especially poignant as they show the joyous and the crushing heartaches in life. I often feel devastation is a sign that we are human. Since birth, crying has been a sign that we are alive, not necessarily that we are upset. I like some images in this series more than others and to be honest I think it could have been much stronger through the use of documentary style images rather than ones that seem very posed and disingenuous. I would have also liked more shots like the feet showing gesture or objects/food.
